The terms that apply to the CAQA Data website and our data services, including secure transfer, storage, return and deletion of client data.
These Data Services Terms apply when you access or use CAQA Data. By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully, respectfully and only for its intended purpose. The information on this website is provided for general information and service-description purposes. Specific terms may also apply to consulting engagements, data projects, system migrations and other services arranged with us in writing. CAQA Data is part of CAQA Groups and is operated by Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238).
CAQA Data supports registered training organisations (RTOs), TAFEs, dual-sector providers, enterprise training teams and government program areas across Australia that need accurate, defensible student and reporting data. Visitors to this website are typically data managers, compliance managers, chief executives and administrators researching support with AVETMISS validation and lodgement, USI data support, data cleaning and deduplication, student management and learning management system migrations, funding and claims data, data quality programs, operational reporting packs and custom data projects and automation.
This website describes our services and lets you make an enquiry through our contact page. It is not an online store and it does not provide a client portal. All data services are scoped and delivered under a written proposal or service agreement, as described in our Client Engagement Terms. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance without a written scope agreed by both parties, and published examples or statistics describe past engagements rather than promised outcomes.
CAQA Data does not sell products online and does not take payments, deposits or subscriptions through this website. There is no shopping cart, checkout or stored payment facility. Fees for data services are quoted in writing and invoiced under the agreed engagement. Because no payments are made through this website, no website refund terms apply; cancellation, variation and refund positions for engagements are set out in the applicable proposal and in our Client Engagement Terms.
Data services frequently involve student records, unique student identifiers, enrolment histories and funding data. We agree a secure transfer method with you at the start of every engagement, such as an encrypted file-transfer channel or a secure shared workspace. Please do not send unencrypted NAT files, student records or other sensitive datasets by ordinary email, and do not transfer any dataset to us until the transfer method and the scope of work have been confirmed in writing. We only accept data that you are authorised to provide, and you remain responsible for ensuring that transfer to us is permitted by your own privacy notices and legal obligations.
Client datasets are stored in access-controlled environments, separated from other clients, and used only for the purposes of the agreed engagement. On completion of an engagement we return final datasets and deliverables through the agreed secure channel, and we delete or de-identify our working copies within the period agreed in the engagement documents, unless a longer retention period is required by law or is agreed with you for warranty or support purposes. Written confirmation of deletion is available on request. More detail is set out in our Data Processing and Security Notice and our Confidentiality policy.
The personal information collected through this website is limited to what you choose to provide through our enquiry and contact forms or the newsletter subscription form - typically your name, organisation, role, email address, phone number and message - together with limited analytics information. How that information is handled, and your rights of access and correction, are explained in our Privacy Policy.
You must not use this website to transmit unlawful, misleading or harmful material, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data, interfere with the operation of the website, scrape or harvest content or contact details, or misrepresent your identity or organisation when making an enquiry.
The content of this website, including text, graphics, page designs and service descriptions, is owned by or licensed to Career Calling International Pty Ltd. You may view, download and print pages for your organisation's internal, non-commercial use. Reproduction or republication for any other purpose requires our written permission.
Content on this website is general information about data management and reporting. It is not legal, financial or regulatory advice, and it does not take account of your organisation's circumstances. Decisions about registration, funding, audit and reporting compliance rest with the relevant regulators, funding bodies and data collection agencies, including ASQA, state training authorities and NCVER. See our AVETMISS Disclaimer for the limits that apply to data preparation and lodgement support.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on general website content or from events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right that applies under the Australian Consumer Law or other legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these Data Services Terms from time to time, for example when our services, systems or legal obligations change. The current version will always be published on this page, and continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
